I just learned earlier this afternoon that my grandfather passed away. A shock, of sorts, as we knew he was failing quickly, but not this fast. This, a day after I learned that the husband of my cousin (once removed) lost his life in a kayak accident earlier in the week. This is the accident which has been on several newscasts dealing with the Molalla city councilman on the Little White Salmon River.
Atop this, my wife's cousin who she is very close to, is taking a turn for the worse in his health battles and has been taken from here in SE Oregon to a central Oregon hospital.
