I just book three night at Willamette pass Inn and if anyone would be willing to suggest a lake and any tips I would be much appreciative. I have never been in that area before and would like to look for some Macks or Browns. PM is cool and the info would stop at me.

Do you have a downrigger?

So, share which is it. Myself would be Odell.

That's a easy choice for me. No browns at Odell. Crescent lake has both trophy browns and macks :thisbig:

Just got back from Crescent. Marked lots of big fish on the finder but couldn't get em to bite. Good luck to ya!

Odell was really slow for me last weekend! Good luck either way!

Just got back yesterday. Crescent gets my vote. I talked with a few folks that fished Odell and they said it was not just slow but more like dead. What the heck though... try them both. PS If you got to Crescent go REALLY SLOW over the train tracks or you may launch your boat right there.

Aren't those tracks a bit wild? I thought my truck was going to launch and I slowed up pretty good just before going over! Talk about your "speed bumps!!" :passout:

Crescent, for the exact reason Jimmy stated, trophy macks AND browns. But, if you're interested in nothing except Mackinaw, I know there are a ton at Odell.

They are indeed! If not for the 15 MPH corner I would have also launched my camper the first time over. Never seen anything quite like it. It appeared on the day I left they were filling in some of the 4 ft holes.
