I am looking for some input on Suttle Lake inSeptember, mostly I am wondering if there will be a lot less water skiers. I am thinking of taking my drift boat to do some fishing, but don't really want to fight the ski boats for calm water.

I am thinking that it will be geting cool enough that it may keep some of them home. I am also curious if the browns may start to bite better.

Like all lakes west or east it seems after Labor Day a lot of folks put the ski's up. Suttle is no different except if we should get a few days of warm weather then a few are around but generally only during mid day on weekends. The jet ski crowd seems to be from a little different gene pool but still thin out.

With archery season in full swing and the cooling of water temps fishing early and late you should be in great shape. I'm not a brown fisher so others might have more info but I believe September and October to be the best months of the year for all types of trout fishing.

My thoughts are based more on the solitude of fall fishing one can experience rather than the catching.
