The family and I are going to head out on Thursday for a fishing/camping trip. We hit Merwin, Yale, and Swift quite regularly and occasionally Riffe, Alder, and Clear Lake by Yakima. I am looking for some suggestions for some new country to take the boat to in Washington east or west side.

Banks lake is good for Walleye and Bass.. but a bit large so it can be overwhelming.

For some excellent info on Washington's lakes, go here.

In the meantime, the go-to lake in Washington right now is Rufus Woods, when the fishing's good. They had a massive escape of big triploids from a net-pen near the upper end some whiles back. Just make sure that if you go there, you mind the regs, they take them VERY seriously at Rufus.

Also you might want to give some thought to Lake Cushman, though right now, it's probably wall-to-wall ski boats
