Hit Prineville earlier yesterday and it was warm + slow. The usual bunch of little smallmouths and anorexic bullheads

Haystack was a bit of a waste in the afternoon. Water level was down like six feet from last week and there was some algae explosion turning the water green. Canal was slowed down as well. Some fish rising as usual and no trout, Just little smallies.

All and all got a good fishing tan and threw down a few cold ones on a warm day. Beats working :D

Thanks for the report. It is amazing how fast the water level changes in Haystack. The algae has been there for several weeks, makes my fish finder do weird things, quite a pain in the backside. This report certainly reminds me of the old adage; A bad day fishing beats a good day at work. Mostly sounds like the standard late summer trout fishing in reservoirs, those poor little fish just don't feel like doing much in bathwater.
