Was put by Scio this weekend fishing rembering some the irrigation ditches that I use to fish as a kid. Was a fun day of fishing drifting a small red bead melted onto a size 10 hook. Caught a dozen the biggest being 10 inches all cutties. Got some strange looks from people passing me on the road but at least I was able to find them. Still looking for a creek that holds decent size trout in the south of Salem. Ever since they quit stocking the creeks ten inches is the new trophy.
