Congratulations on a job well done. I was getting ready to give up on Merwin. The fish were getting smaller then a month age, and also fewer. You put a new life back into my blood.:applause:

Fished Merwin today, 9 in the boat & lost a couple more trying to get them in the net. The fish are nice size & fat. We also noticed that they are starting to turn, some are allready showing the start of a hooked jaw and a little pink.

We fished on the south side & used protroll Apex type in Green behind Green dodgers at 55 to 60 feet. Corn with secret sauce did the trick.....:thisbig:....Kokonuts

Fished Merwin 8:30-3:30 with a lot of down time between fish. Finally got my 5, 2 nice'ns at 15" and other three at about 10". Caught 3-4 rinky dinks. Caught most between 50-60' on green WR's and home-made green bead spinner tipped with anise corn. Not many strikes overall; slow going. Tried a BUNCH of tackle options and moved around :noway:too. 2nd trip in 8 days and both slow, overall. Fish showing a little color now. Lake was 76 degrees.
