I fished Miller lake for a couple of days and the fishing was descent. Boy there is a lot of Mosquitos up there. We caught some healthy browns nothing over 7 pounds( my pb). They seemed to have grated the road going in so that was a plus. I think this lake is a big time sleeper for big browns just judging on how fat the fish are. We caught the majority of the fish on downriggers and lead line using excailibers.

It's good to hear the browns are getting well fed. I think we are going to head up there in early September. How deep are you fishing with those downriggers? We fly fish so I'm thinking I better bring some fast sinking lines and big flies.
Thanks

We were out 7 colors of leaded line and down 35' on the riggers. I think I am going to head back up there next week I am thinking it can only get bettter. Plus I got my PB so I am really excited about that lake.

Did you troll at night? I want to fly fish it in the fall. Casting and rowing/trolling baitfish imitations. Night fishing for browns is something we don't get to do in Oregon...except Miller. I've got to get down there.
