The family and I are planning on making a weeklong trip to this little gem in a week. Does anyone have any reports of bugs and fish? You can pm if you don't want the whole world to know.

I was up there last Saturday. Lots of granola and Subaru's............ Both camp grounds were full.

As for fish, WE didnt make it up there early and fishing was top priority. I did manage to catch 2 throwing a black nymph with a bubble. There were a bunch of fish rolling around and there was a massive mayfly hatch. I dont know the name of the mayfly but they were really dark colored, Almost black. Lots of mayfly nymphs and scuds under wood and rocks at the lake shore.

Good luck and report back, I may run up there next Sunday with the drift boat.

My inlaws go up there quite a bit, they seem to always do pretty good with bait in the stream that connects the upper lake, and trolling like a ford fender or willow leaf out in the main lake. lots of nice little brookies in there, good luck
