I am not the perfect husband or father, but I work hard at my marriage, sometimes to no avail. I came across this book (from the movie Fireproof) The Love Dare. It is not easy, but try it out. Things that seemed insignificant to me, really made my wife's day!
Have fun, and happy marriage!

I am differant, but have never bought into the idea that I need/want to bend over backward's to please my wife...she cost me a job of 15 year's, bennie's, retirement, still out of work at 57, no chance of getting another job...she owe's ME, BIG TIME.:D Did my best to make her 'happy' for 14 year's...it cost me, big time.Only reason I have not left is 'cause of my boy's, I think they still need me[9&12] LAB...
You still live with her in the same house?
Maybe you should have read the book a few years ago before she did.
Best of luck fishy.

As frustrating as all that happened to you must be Feisty, I hope for your sake and that of your family that you won't dwell on the past and hold grudges. Forgiveness isn't always easy but it is a necessity. Many of us in here have been praying for you and were happy to learn you got back together with your wife and kids. God bless you and your family.

feisty,
I really feel for the kids.
There are always two sides to any story.
I wish the best for your children they certainly are the innocent in all you have been through.
All any man can do is try his best to do what is right.
