2 recipes come to my mind, the first is the Skamania Lodge recipe which can be found here by using the search function and typing in salmon chowder. It has quite a list of ingredients, but is quite good! The other was printed a couple of years ago in the Salmon, Trout & Steelheader magazine. It's a much simpler recipe, and I love it. I can fax you a copy of it if you can pm a fax # to me.

Sunset mag had a greaaat smoked salmon chowder recipe...fairly long list of ingreds..but well worth the time. It called for fennel and leeks, as well as the standard ingreds. If you're interested, I'll see if I can find it.
