I finally got this L/M spinning rod built for the Mrs. I used a Lamiglas XMG blank and a custom seat/grip I got from "Gondwanna Rods" down under.
Did a rose cross-wrap w/shaded background and put a stemed rose weave on the base tie-off then shaded the 2 high framed guides. The running guides and tip-top are 4mm Batson.
