We are heading east to Richland for some cat fishing and would appreciated for some valuable tips on locations, bait to use etc. We'll be bank fishing. Thank you. :D

You can fish off the docks in the powder arm at Hewett park late in the evening into the night or early in the morning using crappie guts which are in buckets at the cleaning station. just throw out as far as you can to the center of the channel . It is about 50' to the bottom. You better take your ultra lite gear for the crappie because they are easy to catch in the same area. Good luck and enjoy hewett camp ground. I just left there on Monday the 6th and got all the cats & crappie I will need till next year.

worms and slip bobbers. fish around rocks. they are up close to shore this time of year. 100+ fish days are the norm for us this time of year.
