Just found out today that my father-in-law has been diagnosed with esophageal cancer. We don't know yet what stage the cancer is in. They (and my wife and I) would appreciate all your prayers.

UPDATE:
Unfortunately the news thus far isn't too good. The cancer is stage 3, and there's a mass of tumor in his stomach. It's unknown at this point if the cancer has spread to any vital organs. The plan is to go through chemo and radiation to shrink the tumor and then perform the surgery.
