Thought about going up to Rufus to do some walleye fishing? Has anyone have any reports beside the Maryhill report? thanks in advance, I always take advice too to help me catch fish. :pray:

Just got back from there yesterday. Caught about a dozen walleyes, but they were pretty small. fished pretty hard all day and the biggest was only 16 inches and the rest were all about 13 inches. They were running a lot of water, had almost all the gates open.

Wish I had more info for you. I wanted to run up to the Rufus ramp and fish down from there as it has worked well in the past but it was to darned windy.

A group camped next to us at Maryhill kept hitting it below the 41 marker. They said the morning before we arrived they pulled 7 out of there. Green was the color and their best producing worm harness had a green hoochie skirt on it.

Mike I think I will end up at Rufus, but if I don't do anygood half way through the day I might hit the Johnday for bass or cats up by the narrows.

As Gottafish said we caught four and then it died, even Fly by Nite took off because of no fish biting. Seen a lot of walleye caught while they were biting, wonder if the heat had something to do with it because we had to get off the water because it was so hot. We hit Tbone after we got off the water and drank two to three pitchers of water. But I still am happy that we caught some. Will have to go up again and see if we can get more.
