Caught on the Yakima River. I was fairly blown away when the fish hit in about 3 feet of water. 2nd cast of the day. I needed a change of undies after it hit. By far and away the most explosive strike I've ever had, and I've caught a fair share of 3+ lbers on buzzbaits/props. I was very lucky the fish didnt miss the bait, as I missed about 2 or 3 other fish in the 17-18 inch range later on.
The fish measured 20.5 inches, but in my haste to get her back in the water I didnt get the girth....so I don't know...I'm guessing it pushes 4.5 - 5lbs.
I think the summer patterns are starting to pick up.
