I got bored today and decided to build some spinners. I have most of it figured out but, is there a tool to spin the loops in the wire?

There are a few tools that can do the trick. Check out either the Boggs tackle maker or the Twist Tech. Both can be found in local fishing/hunting stores.
Hope that helps!

I purchased a Twist-Tech Last fall and I love it. There is a problem with it though........A big ole hole in your wallet for 'stuff' to make spinners. I love it but have to pace myself. Have fun and enjoy. Great hobby and they make great earings too! LOL

Thank you guys. I could not find the twist tech on line anywhere but the boggs looks like it does a good job.

I like round nose plyers and breaking the wire. No sharp edges and I can make spinners in my boat.

I prefer the twis tech, it has gone considerably higher in price since I bought mine.
Needlenose pliers and fingers...cheap, don't wear out, and faster once you get the hang of it...

I have both a Boggs and a TwistTech. I find the TwistTech works much better for me.

I have a twist-tech and I find myself always grabbing these little funky needle-nose pliers with a nice round tip. I think I stole them from the wife....they might have came from a craft store???
I have built hundreds of spinners and can get nearly perfect bins with pliers, but it took a lot of practice.

needle nose pliers will work but what i use is a pair of pliers with tapered cylinder shaped jaws. with the tapered jaws i can make any sized eye i desire.. the cost at a tool supply store was about $15.. they work great, and give a nice round eye to the spinner.
i aslo use them for bending spreaders..
