Hey question: Have any of you guys fished the main CR out in front of or around Suavie Island?
Any any of you interested in joining us for an afternoon family BBQ on the beach?
IFish Bassin Beach BBQ???
The wife & kids are thinking about going out to Social Security Beach on Sauvie Island and I was thinking I could fish the morning on the main river, beach the boat for lunch once they got there, have some fun in the sun w/ them and then take the kids out for an evening fish while the wife heads off to work.
Any thoughts?? .... Other than steer clear of the nudies w/ the kids on board.
Figured I could hit some of the rip-rap along the S.I. Dike, maybe try the Frenchman area.
Other idea's?
Possible launches: Cathedral? or Scappose? Pro's/Con's?
Requirements for the day are: fishing for me and fun & sun in the sand for them.
Oh and spend no $$. :wink:
Just looking for a way to keep the family happy and thought maybe if I could get another family or more together the fun would multiply. I have a wife and 2 girls 7 & 10yrs old.
