Bass near Oakridge ?

ok, so with the way things are this year, we cant go running off every weekends to any bass water we want. So trying to find decent places to camp and still fish for bass close by is kinda tuff. We are gonne be near Oakridge and i know about hillscreek having good bass but im going without a boat. Maybe a kayak though. Are there any ponds or small lakes around the area that arent so popular that might have bass? I dont want your secret spots, just something that might warrant a cast or 50. thanks. Hate to say it but i might have to fish for.............TROUT. :eek:

On hills creek you can catch them walking the banks of the packard creek arm. They used to hang around the bridge pilings in the upper end of the lake too but you'd probably want a boat for that.
