Three Creeks is open for business. The drift at the dam was breached this morning. Horse camp is open and trailers can make it into it. The other camp grounds are still full of snow but tent space can be accessed at the South end of the lake. The store opened today and boats can be rented starting tomorrow. The fishing has been fair to good. If you could catch one of the mosquitoes and tie it on you might catch more fish. You would have to use a large weight to get it into the water.

That is a gorgeous lake. Don't overlook the outflow for flyrod fun on small trout.

Joemomma, you were probably taken in by the view and missed the store. It is about 150 yards past the dam on the lake side of the road. The owner is just stocking it as he just opened it. He carries some of the basics. The rim still has a lot of snow on it. The eagle's are back again and make for something to watch while catching fish.

You guys are funny! I do believe I was a little excited when I saw the beautiful lake, I really don't remember a 7-11 sign for the store though:wink:

To be fair, it does look more like a cabin than a store and it is easy to overlook.
