If you have caught or catch a Smallmouth Bass in Tenmile lakes, post proof! A picture with some landmark we will all recognise as Tenmile!!
Rumors abound but no real proof!!!

I have never seen any smallies in Ten Mile.... would be news to me as well.

I have heard that rumor at least once a year for the last 4 or 5 years but so far I have yet to see a pic. There may actually be a few smallies in there, but how come no one has ever taken the time to get a pic?

I also hear rumors that there are smallmouth in Eel Lake, I have no proof of that either but if it were true there is a chance that one could swim down the Eel Lake outlet and up into Tenmile because they share the same outlet to the ocean eventually!

i read a paper down there one year about a under water tunnel that connects the two lakes eel and tenmile of course this article also was talking about a lock ness type moster in tenmile but if the underwater tunnel part was true smallies in one could mean smallies in both. those perch down there look like a smallies sometimes

There are smallies in eel. We had a club tourney there several years ago in july and a 3lb smallie was weighed, but for tenmile Ive never seen one. It is possible but I've yet to see one ever weighed or caught

gotta see it, hope u dindt drive all the way there just to get a pic of a fish from a diff body of water:D
i would seriously think if there were smallmouth introduced to that lake they might start taking over, and youd see them everywhere:twocents:

I really do not think that they would "take over" as Tenmile just isn't a smallmouth type of lake, Mud bottom and very little rock, not to mention that it is a very shallow lake and gets pretty warm in the summer!
Now, Eel is another story all together, and quite the opposite of Tenmile! Strange because they are very close to each other

I don't have a good one of the background and the fish. I used my new Fuji WP to take the photo in the live well.
