Got out camping at Maryhill last week. Made it out fishing in the afternoon the day we arrived. Got this walleye, 21" 3.5lbs, about 4:30PM 200yds downstream from the 41 marker. 30ft water, green weddingring worm harness with green and chartruese spinner blade, 3oz bottom walker.

Had it for dinner that night! Man are they good eating:yay:

Blew like stink the rest of the time we were there so I wound up windsurfing and no more walleye fishing. Sure would like to do it again though.

Congrats - nice looking 'eye and I'm sure it was yummy. Sounds like you have the perfect backup plan for that area. Maybe I should take up wind surfing so I don't feel so bad when the wind picks up!!

Thanks for the report

Cool! Congrats! Yep I've heard their tastey.
Soon as they drop the flow back down here, I'll be out after them.

The current out there was **RIPPING**, with a 15knot wind at my back and my kicker at normal trolling speed I was going backwards while pointed upstream.

Perfect eating size. Good color, If its not chartruese it has no use.
