crane prairie : been yet?

Hi All,
Leaving for crane prairie on Thursday for 9 days.

Anyone been yet?
Staying at Rock Creek.

Will be fishing chironomids, damsels and the "secret fly"....

Won't miss a few shots at the Deschutes - "the snags" where most don't fish.

Any other info ?

Will probably also spend one day hiking in to one of the lakes NW of Deer Lake (Cultus).

My wife and I were at Crane last weekend and the wind was terrible. White caps and all. My wife caught one Kokanee on the troll back to the ramp and by the time it was in the net the wind had pushed us 200+yds back into the lake.
Lots of guys fishing the river too.

I was there last weekend too. Was cold, windy and some showers. Fishing was relatively slow. There is a blue algae issues occurring so beware. I think blue algae is the correct name.
