Devils lake?

Anyone fished it lately? is the algea in bloom yet? I only hit it from the dock after selling my boat last year hope to get a new one and slay them again soon.

Ya know, I have never fished there, but I just got my first boat, and my family and I plan on camping at the state park there. I think you can dock your boat right at the park. Should be pretty fun. Is the fishing usually pretty good there?

I fished Devils Lake last week for a couple hours, water still in good shape. Caught 2 trout trolling a wedding ring & worm.

They stock that lake with an INSANE amount of fish each year. Alot of the locals, or people aware of the water quality do not keep the fish! Lots of catch and release going on, some realy nice hold over trout in the lake! There is also hi fin coho's in the lake, and some cutt throat!

Slayem every time i go out Willis!!!! Ditch the hardware for the Big holdovers, you know what to use!!!!! Biggest one so far is 26 inches 4pounds over by Indian shore inlet!! Hard to keep the little 12 to 14 inch planters off the hook. Average day though has been 15 to 20 catch and release on the planters.Guys pullin hardware probably 5 to 10!!!
