I need some advice on what to check. i had the boat down at dorena lake for the weekend. it started raining a little so i ran down to put the top up and found that the bildge pump had been pumping water out. checked the hull didnt see anything looked around and nothing noticable. i did notice that a couple of my boat plugs are a little worn down and think maybe thats the problem. I,ve had it out every weekend before on the CR and never noticed a problem. was planning on taking it down to rooster rock and setting it in the cannal to test a new plug. any idea or thoughts on things to check??

Look where your shift and steering cables go throught the pedestal the engine mounts on. Could be some leakage there or at the seal on the bottom of the engine between it and the pedestal.

I had a similar problem with my SportJet NR. Turned out to be the vacuum break on the bilge siphon. It's a plastic coupler on the highest point of the tubing, and it has a tiny hole that gets plugged and doesn't allow the siphon to break. A small (tiny) drill bit will clear out the hole, (If that's it)...
