View Full Version : Pray for Amy (update, God took Amy home)

My 17 year old Son Spencer has a good Friend of the same age named Amy. Amy is battling lukemia for the second time in her life. This second battle is not going well. While undergoing treatment she caught the flu which turned into pnuemonia. Vital organs began shutting down so they put her into a coma. She's been this way since thursday and finally showed signs of a little improvement yesterday.
Amy is very sick right now and could use your prayers. Spencer went up to see her last night and spoke with her parents. They are very tired and worried of course. Perhaps you could offer a prayer for them too. I cannot imagine the stress and worry they must be going through.
(Update) God took Amy home this morning at 5:30am. She was a very sick girl. Please Pray for her family.

I will pray for not only Amy's family in this difficult time but for your family as well, especially your son. This no dout will be a difficult time for him at his age. Hug him, love him and pray with him to help him overcome his loss of a good friend........................:pray:

today was Amy's funeral. Spencer requested that just he go to mourn his friends celebration of life. Say a prayer for Spencer tonight as I am sure this will be on his mind the next few days. Also remember the parents. This is one of the toughest days of their lives to bury their child.
