Leaving next weekend for 4 days of fishing for those large kokes at Wallowa Lake. Will be fishing with my son and 2 grandaughters, so hope to catch a mess of them. Any secrets for these fish?/ I have fished for many years at Paulina, Cresent and Odell with good success, so I think the same should work up there. Have Downriggers, flashers, dodgers, apexes and double tied wedding rings in all colors, so am hoping for the best. Will post pics and results upon the return.

I don't have any info for you personally but if you get up there and still havn't heard anything then ask the folks at the marina. They usually have some good info. You could also call them or send them an e-mail.

One more day and the grandaughters and I head for the high country for a week. Can't wait to catch a few of those big Kokanee. Thanks to the ifishers that PM'd me about recent success up there and hope to bring back some good pictures. Sounds like the old days when the Crescent Lake kokes were 3-5lbs
