Friday was my birthday and my wonderful wife wanted to go fishing:D.
She got up at 6am. and made homemade tamales for lunch and we left for Trillium lake (I just put oars on the boat and wanted to try them out).
We got a little wet but that is what rain gear is for. Had a tough time rowing the boat cuz the fish wouldn't leave us alone:excited:.
We landed about 20 lost a bunch more and kept 4 for eatin. We got most of the fish on a green woolly fly that I tide,a green woollybuger would work great. The fish were nice sized 12-14" and my fly seemed to be getting most of the fish so I traded rods with my wife and that is when she gave me my birthday spanking.:wink:

Her biggest trout ever,19" and a great fight.
Then we went to shore for Caronas and tamales,YUM YUM. Thanks to her I had a great birthday!!!:throb: The fish is in the smoker and I can't waite to do it again.
