Every year before I Take the family on vacation to central Oregon for a week of fishing water sking and wake boarding I try to clean-up the boat as best as possible. Which means fixing any new scratches incurred during spring chinook fishing. Which leads me to this question..
I have a sample of the red paint provided when new but it is becoming dried out, almost like jelly. Can I add paint thinner to it a little at a time and stir it together until I get the spreadability I need. If you have any suggestions it would be greatly appreciated. Most scratches are anchor scratches, nothing any bigger then 1/8-3/16" in diameter.
Someday I will go to vinyl wrap, but for now it still looks good with paint.
