15hp yamaha??

I have a 2001 15hp yamaha that i have only had for about a year. I used it all through the fall and winter and and it ran great but when i started it up this spring i cant get it to idle at all. it starts and runs but can't slow it down at all. not sure if i should just start screwing around with things or take it in. any tips would be great! thanks

pull the carb and blow it out with carb cleaner, should be good to go after that. probably has a little stuff in the idle circuit is all, also check your tank for loose stuff a inline filter on the hose is a good thing.:twocents:
