Just got done w/ #5, 12" hypolon foregrip, Pacbay graphite reel seat, 10" slick butt w/ mushroom butt cap.Wrapped in a spiral w/ Alps guides, double wrapped in A thread and toped w/ thread master lite.I made rod for pulling plugs and clones, but will work great for butts and Lings too, Rainshadow makes a really nice blank, light and lots of backbone.

Sweet, tiger wrap and yes that should pull clones just fine. Going to build one of those myself and compare it side by side to my favorite tuna troller the Seeker 665.

The 70L also make a nice jig rod for iron and the XL a nice swimbait rod

Took it out of Garibali last week, rod needed bumper guide to finish wraped the bumper, CP'd it, and fished for some shallow water Butt's.Dropped some meat, Butt starts chewin on it and decides to take it down the street. I set the hook, locked down the drag to see what the rod could do, in the boat for a wood shampoo in 3 minutes.I am so impressed w/ that blank, light, lots of backbone- Rainshadow does rock.:throb:
