So my wife surprised me last Saturday (June 13th) and said we should go up to Howard Prairie and fish. I asked her if she was going to and she said heck no, she just wanted to go with me so she could read her book while I fished. Whatever, I don't care at least I'm fishing. :D
So we got up there at 7am and got into the rental boat at 7:15am. I started with the silver triple teazer with the red nose. The fish were jumping out of the water all around us and I could have sworn they were laughing at me. So I went back to my trusty lure, the Triple Teaser (.........). And within 30 seconds I caught my first trout of the day. He was a little guy and so I threw him back. Then my wife said she had to go to the bathroom. No biggie. We headed back to the marina. Then we floored it back to the spot I caught the first one and dropped the line.
Needless to say I caught my limit within 1 1/2 hours. And the trout gave me a fun fight for being little 1 pounders. Also my wife had a great time as well wich is a first since she doesn't care much for the sport. But she had fun naming the fish that I caught. All in all a great time. :D
