My new Yamaha F250 (130 hours) buzzer started buzzing when the key is turned on-no red or Green lights come on at the tack-The motor fires right up still buzzer howling and no lights on tack-water pumps out the pee hole
warning buzzer on when motor is off and key is on 1 click-Any ideas on this??
I get no rd or green light on the tack
This all started yesterday and I have not run it at all since it started-batteries are optimas giant size run two seasons with them and they are putting out 14.4 volts and motor started on a dime as well as my T-8 kicker??
any ideas would help

Check the fuel filter, mine has a water sensor in it (has been a problem twice, sensor bad) If yours is equiped with said sensor, unplug the sensor and see if the buzzing quits. if this is not the issue, check all of your connectors (look closely at the connector on the port front of the motor it is a round multiwire connector has a pink wire in the bundle) and make sure they are all dry if there is moisture in the connectors blow it out with compressed air and use dielectric grease when reassembling. These are the issues that I have had with my F250 and the mystery buzzer.

Thanks I unplugged the sensor and that did not fix it-I'll check the other connections -boats been dry all winter in a barn
Now after swapping out my clean (no-water) racor filter buzzer went silent and is quite
Now I have little faith in the thing

Check your oil level i believe it has a sensor that will not stop if the oil is low
