I will be making the annual trip to timothy lake for some crawdads and fishing on the fourth. Any updates on how the lake is fishing and what seems to work the best?

In my opinion everything works at timothy are you fishing off the BANK or on A Boat? crawdad tails will pull in the big brookies

I will be fishing from a boat mostly. I have only ever caught the rainbows from timothy never really tried for brookies much but would love to find some.

concentrate on the southeastern side of the lake..Plunking worms on anchor will get fish for sure..

I've always got rainbows and brookies just off Meditation Point.:meme:
Troll on the S side to the E. That drops off alot and there are
some old stumps down aways.
Trolling Teeny Nymphs or other flies like that. (Brown, black or dark green)
Try Super Duppers (brass with gold mylar, work best for us)/
Use long lines.:excited:
Watch out for native fish.:)
