Well Bill called last night and said he was ready to go fishing again . So at 0600 am we where at the Packers Bay boat ramp and in the water by 6;10 am. We headed straight for the west wall and started stetting up . Two Dipsy Rods and two Down Riggers all at 100'. Bill drew first blood , a nice 19" king that gave him a bit of trouble getting into the net. Told Bill this is not a good sign, he goes why ? I said man where going to be lucky if we get another fish. Then he laughed as we hooked up another and lost it 6' from the back of the boat. In total we landed 7 1/2 fish :D ( 8 ) and we lost 9 at the back of the boat.
All in all it was a great day and only saw 4 other boats and one guide boat and never a net rise to the air the whole time we where out , as we landed fish from 6;30 to noon. The bite shut down and we could see the Kings down deep, so we shut it down and headed home. It was a Hell of a day at sea Captain.
I also got all dressed up and wore my good Levis
