Armortech I have had this new floor for about a year and it gets dirty bad. i have used simple green, jolt, car soap, lemon joy, and the only thing that cleans it is castrol super clean. now the problem is superclean is super strong it is alkiline like the old wire wheel cleaners. advise would be apprieciated.

I use Soft Scrub with a deck brush, works great.

What's wrong with the Super Clean? Been using it for 5 years on my current Alumaweld and 4 years on my last Alumaweld. It's the only cleaner I've seen that cleans my floors completely. I pay close attention to my boat and haven't seen any side effects to Super Clean. A little goes a long way and I usually dilute it with water 4/1.

My method is:

Spray the floor with water, mist Super Clean over floor, soak for 5 minutes, wet bristles on scrub brush, fill bristles with Lemon Joy, scrub and rinse. Floor looks just like new.

It will also pull all your bait oils and stains out of your UHMW or Starboard.

I don't know if you have a Dollar Tree store up there or not. I tried all sorts of cleaners and they have a cleaner called Awsome. The bottle actually says ''LA'S TOTALLY AWESOME''. The bottle is clearish and the liquid is yellowish. It comes in a spray bottle and it work AWSOME. Also when you use it, it doesn't make alot of bubbles. I use to use Simple Green which worked pretty well but this works alot better. The best part it only cost a buck. I think it's worth a shot.

next weekend i get to clean my boat again but not till then...my buddy used my tip from this post on the soft scrub and he said it worked great thanks to fisher for that tip.
