O.k., we've got the trout on order for delivery next week. Now how about some suggestions on how to control weeds in the pond?

I know people like the Justesens near Maupin must have some sort of method that is affective and doesn't harm the trout. Does anyone know how or who to call?

Would someone at ODFW know? If so, who do you suggest I call, it's a big place in Salem.

Thanks a bunch.

If you can get a stocking permit for them, asian grass carp do a good job of keeping weeds down. I hear they put up a good fight too.

The Grass carp work well but per pound are more costly then the trout.

Would you have less weed problems with deeper ponds?
