So I am looking to upgrade my motor. I have a 115hp 4-stroke jet and I need more power on my 19 foot NR. I know that that the HPDI motors are probably the better choice for running shallow water. But what about long term? Are the 2-strokes going to be obsolete anytime soon? Am I better off going with a 4 stroke upgrade? What do you guys think? If you have one of these motors in a pump - how do you like them? What do you have and do you have enough horse power for your boat? I can tell you that a 115hp 4-stroke is not enough engine on my boat for what I need it to do. Thanks. Craig.

I had a tiller, pump, 150 v-max 2 stroke carb'd on my 19' NR Scout and loved it. Fast, bullet proof, low cost and maint.
