Salmonfly action in Maupin still?

I am heading over on Sun to stay a few nights to do some fishing. Can anyone tell me if the Salmon flies are still around and fish are still eating them?

Slowing down a bit near town. I'm stepping out the door for my evening session anyway. Dog needs a walk, and I might fool one on a Clark's Stone like I did yesterday evening. Or not. I don't care either way, it is just nice to be in Maupin and watch the June thunderstorms from the banks of the Deschutes.

I'm pretty sure you could pound up a good fish or two on salmonflies or golden stones near Maupin this weekend -- but you'd probably drum up more further upstream.

Maupin is one of my favorite spots in Oregon. Great fishing, beautiful spot and lots of wildlife. I still think a lot about buying a building lot there sometime.

Not sure about Maupin, but i fished WS to TC today. There were goldens and salmon flys everywhere, but the goldens seemed to be more active and the fished were focused on them today. Caught a hog in the morning and a few more around 15 throughout the day, but i also lost/missed many more.
