Hi all,
I am heading up the cascade lakes highway with nothin but some waders and a float tube next week and was thinking about hitting crane or south twin. Anyone know of any fishing reports and launches for float tubes?
thanks a bunch,
Big Red

I took the wife, daughter and my neice out to So. Twin memorial day weekend and it was nothing for us to catch our limits of 13-14 in trout.. I did see a couple nice 18-20" come out over the weekend.. Rainbow power bait with a small egg sinker and about 24" of 2# test leader worked well for us! Good luck:D

South Twin. Fished with my daughter last Saturday. Fished 2 one hour sessions before/after lunch. We caught one 12" rainbow...on Powerbait while "rowing" to a new site. Stupid fish! I don't really know where the best spot is..marked a few fish right on the bottom in 35 feet of water.
A couple of boats were doing fine fishing bait.
Saw some flyfishers with tubes.....didn't see how they were doing.
Great day to be out. Good luck.

Try the So. side of the lake about 100 yds out!! I don't know why but they really like to hang out in that area..

Had some friends and family out there a week ago. I believe they fished with powerbait for the most part and managed to catch a lot of fish. They did get one that went 21 inches and was a fatty. May be worth making the trip over there with the drift boat soon!
