Was up there on Saturday and Sunday. Most people got their limit.

They were hitting on rainbow power bait, we were fishing from the shore over by the dam hitting about 10-20 feet from the shore. The young ones that were casting like a 6 year old were getting their share as well, was fun to see that excitment.
One young man about 11 or 12 left his pole to run to the bathroom and of course as he got up the bank had a hit on his pole! Funny thing was the gentlman about 15 feet from him went to the edge of the drink to retrieve his pole, the fish pulled it in to the lake.

Last weekend it looked like the bankies were doing better than the boats. We were Bass fishing, my wife got a planted on a crankbait and we saw the hardware trollers getting a few. Mothers day I took my mom up, she would have rather been Springer fishing, but..............She got (C&R) 10 just flatlining a brass Midge with a 3/8 oz. keel sinker. Size seemed smaller than normal.

Sunday morning-bites on green, few takers, no keepers. tried needlefish of all colors, greens seemed the best, caught fish with wedding ring in green also, nothing with flashers on, even little doc sheltons. Going to try protroll with needlefish next time I go, but if you want fish, powerbait off the bottom from shore has produced more fish than anything I have seen.

The 2 of us got our limits last Saturday. We tried various trolling setups but we had a hard time getting them to bite. Got 3 trolling, but it took several hours. Decided to anchor up & try some powerbait. We should have done that sooner. Got the final 7 in a short time, all on the rainbow colored. We were fishing in about 24' of water in the slow zone. The trout we were catching were 9"-14".
Good luck next weekend. :)

Olive wooly buggers on a "cammo" sinking line was the ticket for me. My buddy got his on a green Rooster Tail with a little powerbait ball on the hook.

Trolling at a leisure rowing pace.
