My son and his wife fished saturday and found a pocket of fish with three around 19 to 20 inches and one pig around 23 inches. Most of the fish were taken on crank baits.


So he gave me a call Saturday night and wanted to see if old dad would like to take a ride up the river and see if the fish were still in the same place and biting. Yep, they were still in the same place. We caught anouther 20 fish with four being over 19 inches. Almost all the fish were caught on plastics.

Wow, what an awesome day and then you pull it off twice! :applause: Come on you big tease, let's see more pics!! let's so those big 19 inchers! Too bad you didn't get a pic of the 23 incher! A couple of the previous state record smallies were 23 inches!!:bowdown:

I second the jealous part! Can't argue with such a great couple of weather days and plenty of smallie action. Good on ya! :meme:

Yeah....no doubt.....don't hold back with them big fish pics. Its cruel to show picks of 16s and 18's when you mentioned a 23 inch hawg!

I don't blame you though....sometimes the pictures of the big ones give away the spot to the meat fishermen!

Good work. Maybe the 3rd time is a charm?
