I get to cuss on the day I write my retirement. OK, so I will, but only because it's a quote.
Also, I'm going to hold up the ship best I know how, and to the best of my ability until there is a solution. I have several in the works, and I'm trying to do the best for all in managing the transition.
But, you are so right, and when I read this, I know it's time.
A reminder!
Do not burn yourself out. Be as I am - a reluctant enthusiast...a half-hearted fanatic. Save the other half of yourselves and your lives for pleasure and adventure. It is not enough to fight for the land; it is even more important to enjoy it. While you can. While it's still there. So get out there, and hunt and fish, and mess around with your friends, ramble out yonder and explore the forests, encounter the Grizz, climb the mountains, bag the peaks, run the rivers, breathe deep of that yet sweet air, sit quietly for a while and contemplate the precious stillness, that lovely mysterious and awesome space.
Enjoy yourselves, keep your brain active and alive, and I promise you this much; I promise you this one sweet victory over our enemies, over those desk-bound people with their hearts in a safe deposit box and their eyes hypnotized by desk calculators. I promise you this: you will outlive the b (I chickened out on the cuss word!)."

It just hit me square in the face that I just stepped down. Oh, what a history I have, here! This isn't easy to do! Tears... lots tears. and lots and lots of love to so many of you, out there!
You will be missed.
