I will be visiting the Coos Bay area in June, & was wondering how trout fishing is at Tenmile? I haven't fished there for a lot of years so don't know what to try. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks. :D

I went there last year for memorial day weekend and this year I'm doing the same. I trolled the south lake right out of the boat ramp troll there to the creek and make a big circle around there. I have caught found a lot of fish there. I usually troll Any kind of fenders with a wedding ring on the back and a worm on it. Another good spot is just before colman arm on the left side of the lake.

Good Luck!

Reading your post about Tenmile Lakes reminded me of this ifish thread from a while back. There are some really nice rainbows available there. Check out these pics and have a great trip!

Thank you Dullhook. Great thread! I am looking forward to getting back there to try some fishing. We want to get my mom out & hopefully get her into some fish. It has been years since I fished those lakes, so it will be a learning experience. The last time I fished a lake in that area it was Eel Lake & I caught a steelhead. :excited:
