Wish I could be more help--I've been there crawdadding more times than fishing. All I can say is try anything and everything--maybe something will flip the switch, because they ARE in there.

The lake has a deep channel and fairly wide shallow area along the sides. Deep along the dam but only out about 20 yards. Caught limits year before last when the water was drained down to kill off the weeds. Worms, power bait, spinners. All of the usual techniques. In the spring I have walked up to the top and caught fish under the trees.

Couple years back, I walked up the road and fished the over the culvert. I think that is where a lot of the fish are caught. The two or three spots there are usually taken. Good luck and there is always North Fork next weekend.

I grew up out in Estacada. That lake is Hot or ICE Cold. Power Bait, Eggs, and Worms. Just have to find a spot that they are at.
