Cunningham slough?

A buddy and I were thinking of taking the boat up the slough looking for some bass/crappie or maybe some carp to shoot with our bows. Anyone have advice or tips thàt they would be willing to share? I am guessing its mainly largemouths in there and I don't have a lot of experience fishing for them! Thanks for any direction you can point me!
