Have a friend going over Memorial Day weekend, he has reservation's but last i heard there was 3' of snow still on the road.

you can NOT get in from hw 26 yet but has been reported you can get in the back way

it was snowing pretty hard up on the pass yesterday morning but with this hot weather coming it should be open soon.

I too am going memorial day weekend. Can someone tell me which way is the back way? Is that HWY 84?

The back way is through Estacada on 224. All the way up to the Ripplebrook Ranger Station. About a half mile past the ranger station is a left turn on road 57. This will take you up to Timothy Lake.

Just got off phone with Estacada Ranger Station...
They swear it's open the back way....

I call B.S. on that. I was just up there and the Gate is still closed.

i was up there a week ago guys, the gait IS open from estacada. I launched my boat from pine point ramp which is plowed. I'm not lieing
