Hayden Lake and Fernan Lake ID Crappies

Have any of you fished the Coeur d Alene area for crappies ? I am imagining pulling some 13"ers out from under some of those docks surrounding Hayden. Any experience with these lakes ?

I spent a week at a house on that lake and fished the lake for bass and pike. Caught bass up to four pounds, and pike up to about 26", with no prior experience there. I was there in the Summer, and I fished some drops off of flats near walls that were about 1/2 way up the lake and found reliable fish. We also caught crappie right off the docks in the northwestern arm of the lake using small white jigs. Crappie weren't huge, but they were definitely fun and reliable. Also fished for bass in the coves in the evenings and night and got fish on black colorado blade spinnerbaits. Fishing was definitely enjoyable. Hope that helps. JB
