LBC info needed [Archive]

First time heading over to LBC this weekend, for you guys that head over their regularly which route to you like best, HWY 26 to HWY 97 or I 5 to HWY22.
I'll be leaving from Hillsboro and would like to stay on the flat land as much as possible.

id take 26 over hood and hit 97 for sure. its the fastest route from pdx area and pretty easy driving, especially once you get over the pass.

26 over Mt. Hood is always my route from Hillsboro to Madras. If I was heading to Sisters or Bend I would go south to Salem and then East.
