sub-surface buzzbaits?

Hey all!!! I was wondering if fishing a buzzbait underwater like a spinerbait can produce strikes on bass? I would think so because of the mass vibration that it must put out. Tried it a few times but never had any luck. Anyone else ever tried it? :shrug:

I have accidently caught a fish like that. I cast out and backlashed. I let it sink as I picked it out. When I reeled up the slack a bass whacked it as it lifted off the bottom.
